Biography
One of the coolest features of Light Primal eyes is that they can detect curses, Shadetouch, or other undesirable magic, and if strong enough, UV fry it out of existence. This means that a number of Light Primal dragons are involved in Hewn City exploration missions in hopes that they can get historically useful artifacts without getting cursed, or if they do get cursed, that they can reverse said curses. RaveParty was from one of those archaeological missions, who were quite shocked to find the Hewn Suburbs, seeing as they had been removed from all official Light Flight records. The archaeologists were even more shocked to find dragons living there. They attempted to ask the suburbanites for information about the area and its local legends and history, but they remained suspicious, as they are towards all representatives of the mainstream Light Flight.
One by one, the members of RaveParty's expedition began going missing. First, one of them attempted to investigate a mysteriously out of place black marble temple to the southeast of town. Their last record documents a blinding flash of multicolored light. They were never seen again and no remains were found. After that, more of RaveParty's companions disappeared. Ae interrogated all of those suspicious, edgy suburbanites, figuring they had to be to blame, but even if they are suspicious towards the mainstream Light Flight, they're not murderers. What the heck, dude? As more of the archaeologists went missing, in some cases with even their records vanishing, RaveParty became more and more distraught, and eventually made the long-overdue executive decision to get the heck out of there, only to find aerself blocked by some sort of magical barrier around the borders, which the residents appeared to not know about. Ae fired every burst of magic ae had at the barrier, but it didn't budge.
Eventually, when ae had nearly reached the point of absolute despair, ae walked back to the temple where aer first companion had gone missing. Without thinking, ae yelled at some sort of entity. What, ae did not know. This certainly wasn't the doing of the Lightweaver. What was the spirit of the Hewn City trying to tell aer? Had it fallen so far from the light that it wanted to remain hidden? What did these suburbanites have that let them live in harmony with the Hewn City that RaveParty and aer companions didn't? Had whatever lurked within the Hewn City really fallen so far from Light ideals that it rejected the flight's very fundamental drive to seek the truth?
Aer prayers were answered, but aer questions weren't.
Oh, don't worry about your friends. They're with us now.
...Say. You're pretty cute and edgy yourself. Those thorns and the black and red are fun, and I do want a Light Primal.
You want to get in harmony with the spirit here, huh? That can be arranged.
Why don't you stay a while?
The temple before RaveParty flared up with light, blinding aer in a single flash of bright purple.
The first time ae saw a dragon of the Hewn Suburbs, when ae had just moved there, aer first introduction to the place was a brightly colored Coatl saying how aer eyes would totally be great at a rave party. From then on, ae took it as aer name. Ae loves it here. Ae can be aerself out of the way of all those damned Light Flighters, poking their noses into everyone's business just in the name of "seeking the truth".
Ae's heard that Arlo and his archaeologists might be going into the Hewn City soon.
They'd better not.
They'd better leave RaveParty and aer new friends alone.
