You find the other statue staring straight at you. This one is a lot more ominous. He is carved from ebony with veins of gold spreading from his eyes and across his body. There is a red flickering pendant dangling from his neck that sends eerie shadows swaying over his face. It might just be your imagination, but he seems ready to pounce and his lips are pulled back in a perpetual snarl. This one gives you a prickly feeling on the back of your neck and you are eager to continue your journey away from the statues.

You head for the door to what you presume to be the great hall. Unfortunately you never make it. A hidden trap door buckles beneath your weight and sends you sliding down a damp, stone tunnel.
