Pharaoh

A low growl came from the young dragons throat, golden smoke coming from his mouth and tail. How could someone be so mean just because i'm different?! A small yip jolted him from his thoughts. "I stepped on a thorn again!? Its the third time this week!" He turned around and saw a young lynx hopping on three legs. "Do you need any help with that paw of yours?" He said wanting to meet the young creature. "Eek! A dragon!" The small lynx yipped as it tried to run away, soon tripping and curling into a ball. "I'm not gonna eat you, i'm not hungry and I want to help you!" He said cheerfully. "Oh... well can you get this thorn out of my paw? It hurts really bad." The lynx looked at him skeptical as he took the thorn out of their paw. "Whats your name? I'm Pharaoh the Banescale!" He said as more golden smoke came from his mouth. "Whoa, that's a cool name! I'm Jade the Lynx! If you don't mind me asking, why do you have smoke coming from your tail? I thought smoke only came from dragon mouths." He could ask the same thing, he had always had smoke come from his tail and all the other dragons treated him different and some had even called him an ancient dragon, which he had no clue what that was. "I don't know, I was just born like that I guess." He shrugged and more smoke came off of his wings. "Cool! Also do you mind if I live with you?" Jade asked "My parents kicked me out for "Being partly green" which I guess lynx's aren't supposed to be green." He looked at her confused, why would someone kick out their child just because their green?! That never happened to dragons due to them all being different colors no matter what. "Sure, It's been kinda lonely so I guess it would be fun!" He heard her squeak from happiness. "Yay! Were gonna be the best creature and dragon friends ever!"
