Dune

She flew through the sky, looking for food. She had been flying for a while now, looking for the perfect mate. Looking down she saw a small lynx, she dived hoping she could catch it. With in seconds her vision was covered with golden smoke. "What the-" Her voice was cut off with a deep low growl coming from the smoke. "Leave Jade alone, and leave." She hissed at the voice and flapped her wings to clear the smoke, as the smoke cleared she could see a gold and blue dragon glaring at her. "Well thanks a lot, you scared away my prey." She scoffed annoyed at the ignorance of the other dragon. "Prey?! You tried to eat my friend!" She heard a squeak come from behind the dragon. "Can I come out now Pharaoh?" She looked at the dragon, its protecting the prey?! Why don't they just eat it? "Sure Jade, just stay near me." She watched as the small lynx crept out from behind the dragon. "Well just so we can be more formal, I'm Dune." She sighed, if he didn't eat it she wouldn't eat it. "I'm Pharaoh." He replied. "Well Pharaoh, sense you seem to be friends with that lynx, do you mind to show me where I can find some food?" She looked at him, she knew this was the dragon she had been looking for, for so long she had flown over seas and oceans, and she finally found the dragon to be her perfect mate. "Over here is one of the best spots to hunt, a lot of creatures come here to get water." She looked at the watering hole that he had brought her to. "Thanks, and one more thing..." She trailed her voice. "Yes?" He replied. "Will you be my mate." The words flooded out of her mouth, almost to fast to understand. He had looked at her astonished. "Let me discuss this with Jade first..." His voice trailed as if he was stunned by the question. "Of course, I understand, its a very sudden question." He seemed to calm down after she said that. She watched as the small lynx leapt onto the dragons back, she wondered how she could get along with something that she would normally eat but she promised herself she wouldn't. After a while they came back, while waiting she had caught a blooming strangler and had eaten it with hopefulness that he would say yes to them being mates. As he landed the lynx jumped off his back and trotted over to her. "Well? Did you decide?" She asked eagerly. "Yes i have decided, and yes we can be mates." She smiled so happily she hope this moment would never end. "The only rule is that you can NOT eat Jade." As he said that the little lynx started prodding at her tail. "What kind of armor is this?" She looked at the lynx who looked as if she was Dunes best friend. "It's not armor, I actually don't know what it is, I was just born with it." She looked at her tail, the skeletal bones on it did look like armor and kind of was yet it was fully attached to her body.
