Biography
Pure G2!
Eternity. Named for her supposed immortality. It is said Imperials live forever, only dying by unnatural causes and even then they are still hard to kill. It's unknown whether this claim is true. The hard to kill part definitely is, but the immortality to all natural causes of death? Nobody has yet to find out. Yes, there are Imperials seemingly as old as time itself with no parents of any kind–Eternity would know as she is a direct descendant of such a pair–but nobody could for sure claim that they were immortal instead of just lucky. For all anybody knows, these Imperials could just have some crazy luck beating the odds of sickness and old age claiming them. How one beats old age is a great question.
Some say that the parentless Imperials are the only truly immortal dragons. All other Imperials merely have extended lifespans, the direct offspring of these Imperials having lifespans more kin to their parents, living for hundreds, maybe even thousands of years as long as no outside force is applied to the situation.
Others say magic is the cause, claiming it would be the reason why Emperors exist. Why else would dead Imperials that are grouped together rise from the dead if not because of rampant life magic trying to keep an already dead dragon alive? It would also explain the Lightweaver's hesitancy to create more Imperials. Why make more when the population of Imperials is not only big enough as is, but that added dragons could cause some sort of imbalance?
Eternity has found herself questioning the theorized immortality of Imperials herself. She wants to uncover secrets, but how is one to do that when it comes to something like whether or not a dragon can die? Such a topic can't just be tested. She'd probably get in trouble or hurt herself in the process. But there really isn't a way to test immortality without dying, so that's a big problem. Especially since, contrary to popular belief, immortality does not quite mean not feeling pain.
So, instead of trying to find some roundabout way to test whether Imperial immortality is a thing, Eternity has taken to exploring. Leaving her home, she found herself in the Tangled Wood, in the Forgotten Kingdom, where she decided to settle down. She initially planned to stay forever (well, however long forever would be for her), but got bored. She yearns for more adventure, and has decided to spread her wings once more and see where the winds may take her. Even if it is just another spot in the Tangled Wood, she hopes to maybe find answers to her questions of immortality. Or maybe just a new home.
