Biography
An alchemist who fled home after an accident that left his scales sparse and scarred. He's got an extra set of wings from birth, but after the accident, it left him flightless. (Mirrors were originally supposed to have double everything, eyes, wings, etc. Find that old FR lore...) Something something something, his mother taught him everything he knows and due to her temper and his young dragon angst and ability to hold meaningless grudges, there was a cauldron spill that caused the lack of scales and his immediate distrust of her. He then runs himself out of the clan, finding another. Maybe link him with the con-man magician tun? Ismos and his charismatic ways lure him in and Cosmos is all in on the con of magic, real or not, for the sake of gaining money and fame.
Old genetics still linger even in modern dragons. Mirrors are a common example. Two sets of wings, two tails, an extra set of forearms, their bodies occasionally mirror themselves. The eyes are the only remaining trait that mirror dragons have. Though some mutations break through in rare cases. Cosmos was one of those examples. An extra set of wings on the newborn hatchling had shocked his mother. She had only heard of it in old legends of her ancestors. Mirroring. The one mutation her kind was known to have and the one she had been lucky to never see until then.
Cosmos' extra wings were large and vestigial at most. They hindered his flying skills more than helped them. He could glide masterfully though. Climbing to tall treetops and gliding over the area was a favorite pastime for him. When he was young, that is.
