The Man Who Wasn't There

Cryptid Origins:
No one really knows how creatures like Meduxnekeag coalesce. It's generally agreed that they aren't the product of, say, one undead soul, but rather a mixture of a few different things. Strong feelings tangled in the physical world before a spirit departs, mystical energies leaking from a damaged parts of the veil, a shadowy vessel to hold it all in, fear it can feed on. They aren't really anyone at all. And so for the longest time, Meduxnekeag was simply not there. Moving around the physical world with no other motivation than to seek out strong feelings to improve his manifestation.

Notes:
➵ Was able to feed on any strong emotion, but fear was easiest to provoke, so that's what he usually went with.

➵ Dresses really snappy for attention, he's always been a bit insecure about not existing for so long.

➵ Has extra arms to be better at hugging Minto.

Can two ghosts haunt each other? From the moment Meduxnekeag first heard Minto, he was captivated. She wasn't quite real enough for her sadness to sustain him, so he'd have to leave her side to do some haunting elsewhere and come back when he had regained his strength. As time went on, it became easier to find her again, as he became attuned to her singing. Or perhaps he was becoming more real, perhaps he was feeling some emotions of his own. Eventually, he worked up the courage to whisper from the shadows and ask her out for coffee. They had excellent chemistry and became quite smitten with each other. He would have followed Minto anywhere, and she already had plans to make a change. Now that the dragon scroll has made him corporeal, he loves nothing more than dancing with Minto and feeling her gauzy shroud on his scales.

Coliseum Notes:
He took on the role of Lightening mage for the clan. Shock suits him for how flashy and loud it is. He has no specific role in the coliseum, so he's just holding on to some placeholder stones.
