Name: Tessa Mischievous/Intelligent/Playful Quote: A wolf can be a loyal companion if treated right. Position: Bandit Personality: A playful and energetic dragoness, Tessa is happiest wandering the trees for small decorations or whittling on a bit of wood, hunting and making arrows. she is intelligent and always looking for things to hold her attention for longer than a moment which often meant she ended up causing a bit of a disturbance in her search. Quirks: Impulsive, Reckless Background: First born to the bandit lord and lady, a free and playful thing even from a young age Tessa was almost constantly following after her parents as they traveled, her favorite way to travel was perched on her father's shoulders as he walked the trail while her mother told stories- it is a memory she would treasure more than any gem when she had grown. as a hatchling she valued her parents and the bandits taking the lessons they taught her to heart, learning both bow and sword as well as how to survive within the courts. As she grew Tessa found friends within the nearby dragon clan and took steps to be able to wander by herself since her clan could not always go with her whenever she wanted to go for a walk. she shied away from the courts as she knew the stories of how they had reacted to her father and didn't want to risk being trapped in a prison for crimes she did not commit, not that she hadn't stolen here and there or play a trick on a traveller. Tessa grew into a young dragoness and was given an old dress by her mother, it was tattered and patched yet she loved it dearly, wearing it often unless she was hunting or gathering. she enjoyed wandering and often times felt free when she was wandering, listening to the leaves crunch softly under her claws as she wandered the paths that she had known and loved since she was small and that she had memorized as she grew older. She enjoyed meeting dragons on the path and either lending help or a bit a mischief depending on how they treated her. she had no trouble lending kindness to strangers or offering a hard lesson in humility should they try something unwelcome, with laughter fallowing their misery as she watched from the trees to see if they would learn or fall to their own foolishness. it was not a thing she enjoyed doing, yet she knew with some dragons the choice was them or ending up hurt herself and she was determined to remain unharmed no matter who she had to walk over. Tessa found the clan and it's tavern a fun place to visit and could be found dancing and laughing with whoever caught her eye that moment, it seemed she truly was her father's daughter. she spent a small amount of time at the tavern and found more than a few suitors yet none ever caught her eye for more than a night of a few drinks and dances. the clan welcomed her and her kind into their numbers and understood she would not stay, but enjoyed their company while there. While visiting the courts she chaffed under the formality of it all and found herself uncomfortable in the proper company and clothing she was forced to wear, it simply wasn't her and she understood why her mother chose to stay with the bandits rather than return. once in awhile she returned to see if she could lead any of the proper young things astray and have a bit of fun pulling pranks and racing the woods, but even this wasn't often. When in the Bandit camp she could often be found in the woods, dancing with the night birds and enjoying the night, she often saw a shiver of color watching her dance and play. she felt no unease and finally laughed and invited him to dance with her, her reminded her of the Light elves that she had seen when they visited her home although he did not strike her as a full elf. He joined her home and courted her although her Papa watched him closely for a few weeks when he first joined yet she was thrilled he was making himself a place in her home. she was surprised when he began courting her and of course she agreed quickly, she continued her play in the forest yet when she went once he was her own Marlas was her constant companion. |
