Arashi

Arashi

• any pronouns, most commonly uses she/her. She responds to it/its but often goes quiet after hearing it, as it reminds her of a dark time she barely remembers.
• Her name means "storm", given to her by her adoptive parents. Wasn't particularly happy to learn the meaning of it, but since its meaning doesn't come up in conversation particularly often, she's able to separate the meaning from it.

• Arashi doesn't remember a lot of her hatchling and juvenile days. They come to her in traumatizing nightmares. Visions of experimentation and the sounds of wailing that wake her in the dead of her already light sleep. A full night's rest is considered rare for her.
• She sometimes feels sharp pains across her body that come and go at random, most commonly in her back and wings, which in turn makes it difficult to fly at times.

• Arashi vaguely remembers her begging and pleading to a Tundra from her homeland to make her agony stop, then playing dead, and then fleeing alone to the Sea of A Thousand Currents. It was there she met her adoptive mother and father, an Imperial named Maxie and an Obelisk named Hope.

• Grown, Arashi chose to leave the Sea when she grew restless and uncomfortable with the close proximity she still was to her hatchplace. She set off northwest with Lark and Reed, her Banescale mates and bodyguards.

• Arashi is, in a general setting, rather polite towards other dragons around her, usually masking with a calm, stoic personality. Below the surface, she is paranoid of most, if not all, new faces. She has a hard time trusting dragons. especially those from the Shifting Expanse, but she is incredibly loyal and affectionate towards those who earn it.

• When pushed into panicking, she lashes out at anyone and everyone that attempts to get too close, including her mates. She will fight back.

• She has an extremely soft spot for hatchlings and adolescent dragons, feeling very protective around them.
