The founder of the Fourth Moon Theatre Company, Athena is widely recognised as holding the most authority over clan matters. Of all of its members, no-one is as orderly as her. All of the troupe's matters are kept track of and quietly taken care of under her watchful eye. Her careful leadership is paired with a secretiveness and an ever-composed manner, making her quite the imposing figure. She is also somewhat arrogant, though in recent years she has tempered this.

After bearing the full brunt of [redacted], Athena's physical form was destroyed, rendering her body into a shadow of its former self-- literally. Because of this, she is usually depicted as a Ridgeback-shaped silhouette, though even this is incorrect. What she really is now is a tangible cloud of darkness, her form changing at whim or being swayed by her emotions, sometimes filling the space she occupies or squeezing into tiny gaps as she pleases. While she tries her best to maintain the shape of a Ridgeback, in private she allows herself to "dissolve" back into her nebulous shape. This exceptionally strange state of being, as well as everything that has happened since, has worn her down, making her jaded and withdrawn. Despite the fame and fortune that she could make as a performer, Athena has adamantly refused to do so, gaining her a reputation as the "dragon behind it all".

Athena is not close with many people. She is both orphaned and childless, and has grown distant with her sister, Luna. She is Asriel's guardian, and so she dogmatically protects the young Fae. Many other troupe members - including Aliz, Ares, and Grimm - also admire her more than they view her as a friend, something which she both loves and despises. She has, however, started having more and more clandestine meetings with Cleo and Luke, which has caused rumours to fly.
