LIGHTBRINGER

KNOWLEDGE IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN ANYTHING

Origins - The Lightbringers of lore were not as secluded as the other -bringers were, as their deity sent the Lightbringers all across Sornieth to acquire and record all kinds of knowledge. All of this knowledge was stored in a central library that could be accessed by all. When the gods turned on their creations, the Lightbringers initially were spared by their creator. During this time the Lightbringers became sequestered away in their library, becoming hoarders of knowledge instead of sharing it with the other struggling -bringer factions. It was during this time that Spearmane was hatched and his parents, not wanting him to become covetous like the other Lightbringers, hid him away in one of the most remote libraries. This also proved to be the thing that saved him when the day of reckoning came for the Lightbringers as well. He stayed in his library for many years, until he was found by Empress and joined the new -bringer rebellion.

Personality -Spearmane has a tendency to be single-minded, often getting sidetracked because of one thing. He can also be a chatterbox and invasive with his questioning, and often dragons will think he is rude for asking personal questions. Spearmane is not doing this maliciously, he has a very inquisitive mind and has no real filter for what is and is not an appropriate question.

Relationships - Spearmane adores Raunak! The two of them can often be seen walking the halls of the bigger base, with Spearmane chattering away and Raunak responding ever so often in a quiet voice. After the conflict is over Spearmane is considering asking Raunak to live with him. Spearmane would like to get to know Osso and Yukeyun better as they are closest in age to him, but his personality is overwhelming to the more reserved dragons. Maybe one day they will sit down and talk out their memories.

Familiar - As the name might suggest, Spearmane met his cerdae menagerie in the library's menagerie. Menagerie will remind Spearmane to take breaks and is a strict adherent to his schedule, making sure that he is aware of whatever research needs to be done that day. While Menagerie may appear strict, she loves to sit beside Spearmane for hours while he reads, snuggling up under his wings.

Clan Role -Spearmane is the background researcher and mission de-briefer for the -bringer cause. All plans come through his office and he checks them all for possible problems or complications that could arise. Whatever respect that is denied due to his personality is more than given due to his mission expertise.
