Born in Norwal as the second son of the prankster Blue and the bard HallwayParrot, Malen had been complimented on his astounding beauty since he hatched (his brother Dappled was equally gorgeous). While Dappled was a little more modest and humble when it came to accepting compliments, Malen was the total opposite. He craved the warmth that a compliment would leave in his chest and would bask in its’ radiant glow. So taken by his increasing beauty as he aged, Malen was starting to be approached by many different suitors- both male and female- who would attempt to woo him with lavish gifts and fine cuisine. Of course, he would accept these favors and if an interested female was deemed “worthy”, he would father a clutch of hatchlings with her; though he would at most stay with the female for a month or so before moving on- any previous attachment to the female or his children with her having seemingly vanished. Little did he know that he had drawn the attention of Norwal’s King, Synali…

Since being employed by Synali, Malen’s original haughty, vain personality has since multiplied tenfold. He takes his job as the King's personal butler waaaaay too seriously and gets personally offended if anyone DARES to openly disrespect his King... hence why he's not too fond of Levin and will openly refer to her as “That Robot Dragon”.

In regards to his primary mate Calpata, he is shockingly tender and loving; even going so far as to give her the occasional gift! As for his hatchlings (with Calpata or otherwise) his treatment of them varies depending on how he feels about their mother.
