I got hit with a damn lore truck.

He wasn't sure who he was anymore. His body had become the vessel to many a spirit, some of which took permanent residence and would reveal themselves every now and then. They seemed to think his body was theirs and that HE was the visitor within it. Yet when they needed or want something would talk to him like he was the host. He was not sure if it was due to a misconception that he could just expel them from his body if he felt like it, he couldn't. He had tried. Oh god had he tried, but nothing seemed to work. For a child of the glitched, he really did not embody it, yet everyone seemed to treat him like he was some special being despite having no connection to his family's power and ability aside from name alone.

He was sick and tired of those in the clan treating him like a god. The separate factions tried so hard to get him to their side, and he tried equally hard to escape them. He couldn't cope. He couldn't handle it. The voices were bad enough, always trying to get him to dress how they want, go to the rainbow pools to change his colours to fit their desired looks, but his colours were his. It was the only thing that made him him. And he'd be damned if he let them take that from him. But add to their voices, the cursed Estranged, and their INSISTANT needs that he join their cause, and Iris's constant flirtatious remarks and advances that catch him off guard every time, he could barely hold himself together. The festering ones kept trying to drag him to their home too, and the cove, and then of course the wretched hunter in the south. God he hated that monster. The bogbeasts were the only ones who seemed to give him peace, letting him stay there in the saftey of the mother tree when he needed an escape. It was the only place where even the voices in his head ceased...strange as it was. He'd have to ask them why that was in the future.

And then there was seafoam. Seafoam, the fae who took him in. The strong fae who ruled over the clan, who treated him the same as every other dragon. The kind fae who didn't ask questions when he came to her den for help, or wanting an ear to listen to his woes. The precious fae whom he kept finding himself acting like a flustered child around. The married fae whom set his heart on fire every time he was near her. He knew she didn't see him the same way, she was obscenely loyal to her equally amazing mate. But he couldn't stop his heart wishing things could be different. Yet, despite this, he was content just having them in his life. The fae, and her lovable tundra partner were the closest thing to a real family he had since he arrived, and they provided him the only sense of normality he'll ever get. Even the spirits inhabiting his body seemed to quieten when around the pair.

He truly doesn't know what will happen in his future, but he hoped that maybe one day, he could finally be just himself, and have peace.

so the idea is that, 'heck' sort of, died really early into his childhood. unsure what happened, but he has no memory of dieing. But in the brief moment between being dead, and coming back, a barrier between the dead and living kinda broke. So his body became a sort of inbetween as a result. So spirits kinda just, accidnetally yeet into his body when they die, but super quickly move on cause they dont like it. But a few particurlarly powerful and, sorta malicious spirits (and a few super sweet goofy ones) figure out how to get into this area. But they cant stay there for long, as 'hecks' body is constantly expelling them without his knowledge, but he can always hear them regardless.

Jude - An Elderly Lady who is blind, very sweet grandma. Formally a snapper - Sloth
Bale - Never speaks when they come through, personality is unclear. Formally a Ridgeback - Pride
Lilac - Sickly sweet, flirtatious, and manipulative young woman. Formally a fae - Lust
Pint - Quick and soft spoken, eyes are always distant. Formally a Spiral - Envy
Corr - constantly seeking something within the den, too scared to leave it however. Formally a Undertide - Gluttony
Eel - A conniving one, one whom is nimble, and given a chance will rob you blind. Formally a Mirror - Greed
