Name: Salix Eilerten Van Der Wanorde-Willowchilde.

Alias: “That One”, Void Architect.

Parents: Ricar and Willow, adopted daughter of Sundar.

Siblings: Many, notably Saivax, Erroneous, Noomi, Pandora, Yiral,Wirral, Rashel.

Age: Appears to be about 20.

Gender: Female.

Pronouns: She/her/they.

Orientation: Het.

Eyes: Has heterochromia. Right eye Arcane while the left is Plague. Pastel.

Hair: Short, curly/wild. Muted purple.

Height: Adjustable, but 6’6.

Powers: has the “general” powers of Willowchildren, reality warping, dimension creation, Void access, Soul Recall, Totality (resurrection/restoration of one's physical body) and the unique Manifestation.

Special: Manifestation, the ability to manifest in her child’s place. This has only been observed happening to one of the Hecks and appears to be triggered by grief of Heck I’s apparent near-death state and his body’s hijacking by spirits.

Item creation: Void structures, Void trains, elemental cannons, the Bun-Bun.

Occupation: Sovereign of Anphal, Overseer of the Glitch Quarter together with Saivax.

Marital status: Married. To 8 men. Typical Willowchild behaviour.

Lovers: Several, most notably Helios who would likely be one of her husbands, but he’s practically married to the Coliseum.

Fashion style: Skin tight, full body leotard with thin belt decorated with 3 gemstones representing her 3 nest siblings.

One of them is broken.

Personality: The opposite of Saivax, Salix is jubilant and high energy, which hides her much quieter side that has always struggled intensely with her Plague heritage. So much so it drove her completely mad due to being exposed to Vuundaris at a young age and “seeing” her true self, a universe filled with stars, pulsars, planets and nebulae, deeply warping her perception of Plague and in turn, herself.

Salix has her fair share of traits from Ricar and is quite fixated on having powerful children and maintaining her own domain. (Up to a point she believes this to be a trait from her grandmother, but she comes to realise it’s from Ricar).

Salix is deeply obsessive when something catches her interest and will follow a trail to the very end. She’s known to acknowledge all of Willow’s children, even those long gone.

She’s deeply fond of family, so much so that she has 3 of her half siblings (Ricar’s children) living with her in order to fight off a deep sense of loneliness she otherwise has. Having Willow-siblings living in the same Flight (or neighbouring Flight) makes her immensely happy. Having Saivax with her gives her a sense of wholeness.

Salix is generally happy-go-lucky, but does have her intensely serious moments where her usual self completely evaporates.

Opposite Saivax, she’s very social. Like Saivax, she's a chaos enjoyer.

She’s supportive of others and always willing to help, but tends to not interfere with her children in the hope they will figure things out themselves, only intervening when something drastic has happened. When such things happen, Salix shows zero hesitation to do everything in her power to set things right.

Salix used to have firm belief she knew and understood the nature of things, but after recent events and events on the horizon, she is not so sure anymore. She only hopes she can help.

Likes: Anything Arcane, her siblings, family members, chaos. Having overcome her immense dislike of Plague, she’s fond of bones and owns a All-Seeing Shroom.

Dislikes: Boring things, anybody messing with her children.

Possessions: Skeletal Chimes, Bun-Bun.

Weapons: Indestructible gold banjo created by Dismas.

Associated animals: Spiders (Jumping Spiders), leopard gecko, frilled lizard.




Info: A grandchild of Naomi, Salix is the 32nd child of Willow, the youngest from the Nest of Conflict and the last to leave the old lair. She resides in the alien structure of Anphal with Saivax where she lives with her relatives, functioning as a balancer to them and their own chaos and turmoil.

She is a student of Vuundaris and is a reality warper of the highest order, a title she shares with Vuundaris’ only other student Gress.

Salix is in general a wild and joyful person, the first one to declare, or demand, a party be started. She is also a force of chaos, the storm to her sister's calm, relentless and whimsical, rarely letting others see the far quieter and thoughtful side to herself. A side that is willing to look into things or help people others have either given up on or simply won't consider helping.

Much of Salix’s history revolves around uncovering Saivax, keeping an eye on her father to discover his secrets and her ever growing inner turmoil over her Plague heritage.

A turmoil that eventually overwhelmed and caused her to draw on the energies from the Void, turning into a Voidchild and caused immense chaos in Anphal, where it took the whole Glitch and Dramaturgy Quarter to stop her and detain her in the Sleep Quarter.

Plagued by nightmares and bizarre dreams alike, Salix eventually escaped, convinced by visions of Thorn’s Plague and Arcane eyes that the only way for her to find any peace.

Death by immense Arcane energies.

A death she met when she walked into the Heart of Arcane, a massive explosion tearing through Starwood Strand. She later reappeared in Ice, having attained her true colours and the same heterochromia as Thorn. After Willow’s escape, Saivax sabotaged his own defences, letting Salix capture and drag him kicking and screaming out of Plague.

Salix was the one who came up with the plan to free her father from Plaguebringer’s grasp by having her brother Unwrite the deal, a plan Saivax happily went along with.

Since then, Salix helped repair her father’s ruined citadel (which she ruined when she came to collect Saivax) and escorted Sundar to Anphal together with Yuggal and Saivax.

Salix is ferocious in combat, so aggressive it generally shocks and terrifies her enemies into doing nothing or fleeing. Despite her powers, Salix enjoys physical combat and is known to walk into the camp of her enemies and attack anybody in charge in front of anybody. (Something she's done even to Whisper)
