Butcher or Surgeon? Plague Flight Representative

Carnelian worked as a butcher for many years. While her work would make some squeamish, the role of converting the spoils of hunting to proper food supplies was one from which she took great satisfaction. Some called it sadism, but it wasn't the killing nor the slicing that appealed to her, but the thought of every little morsel nourishing her friends and family. Mouths watering, little hatchlings growing up from the sustenance, and nary a speck of gristle to ruin the meal.

Not much can turn this sturdy Snapper's stomach, and so when she was infected by Gembond and began to grow the heavy gems on her body, it seemed only natural for her to turn her cleaver on herself. Her friends cried against the mutilation, but her honest intention was once again not sadism, but a desire to help, in this case, herself.
She had great proficiency with her huge cleaver, however the tool was made for hacking huge chunks of meat, not the surgical precision required for Gembond removal.
As a result, the image of her hacking at herself with her giant blood soaked cleaver resulted in the first dragon to discover her doing so fainting from the shock. The poor young Pearlcatcher didn't fare much better when she awoke to fine a concerned Carnelian leaning over her, still dripping.

Carnelian offers her services not only as a butcher now, but as a surgeon, although she wonders why none ever take up her offer. After all, she is constantly working hard to refine her technique, the result of which is being constantly swathed in blood soaked bandages.
She is a kind and thoughtful dragon who always puts the clan first, but very few realize this. Most think her to be sadistic, cruel and downright scary, none of which is remotely true.

In recent times, Clan Snastle has found itself in need of flight representatives, and having grown up around the Wyrmwound, Carnelian offered her services without hesitation. She now acts as Plaguebringers representative in the clan. Her roles include researching and suggesting routes for Snastle's course through Plague territory, and acting as a negotiator with any clans they may encounter. She also manages exalts headed for Plaguebringer and appeals to the clan on the flight's behalf when Plague requests assistance.
