Biography

Official model of Courtney from Windows XP, an early computer 3D rendering of a cartoon woman sitting in a small red airplane resembling a bumper car with the top open. She has large dark sunglasses and a pink bandana wrapped around her head. Guess who spent 300 gems on a G1 for a fandragon of, of all things, a Windows XP search assistant? *shaky double thumbs up* This entity! Cyan/Magenta is a quite common combo. Cyan/Magenta/Redrange, not so much, and I have limits in terms of how many breeding projects I'm willing to do for Microsoft products and features thereof. But it's still common enough to be popular and desired, aka expensive. Back in the ancient days of 2015-16, I thought that she and Cortana were the same person. She had LORE. Basically, she was rejected for Microsoft Bob for being too Internetty, got added to XP as Courtney, voice acted for Microsoft Anna, and then for 8-11, combined her aliases for Cortana. Now that I'm older and more mature, I have a more reasonable conclusion - she's a plucky late-90s/early-2000s magical girl exploring cyberspace and fighting viruses with her witty, sentient planevertible and Cortana is her transformed form. Links from Office 2000 is her animal companion.

I do not remember this search assistant at all despite using windows XP when i was younger. maybe it's because i didn't use windows search much? Anyway, the dragon is really cute!

i thought i was familiar with all of the personal assistants from the windows xp era, but apparently not! i had never heard of this gal until right now. she looks fun though, if she was real i'd hang out with her!
