 iCaligoiChild of the Looming Shadows  Caligo mostly keeps to herself, as most Shadowborn dragons do. He prefers to live nocturnally, slipping out of her den as the moon rises and soaring through the dark night. Caligo is clever, a trickster much like his birthflight, but she is not a thief, instead being a puzzlemaster. Caligo is a regular at the fairgrounds, his dexterous claws adept at the games that fill the area. She spends much time working on Glimmer and Gloom, where he has memorized patterns of all kinds; despite this, her preferred game is the more peaceful Jigsaw (he’s also up for a game of Mistral Mahjong whenever asked). |
Caligo was small when she left her birthclan, his dark scales blending with the deep shadows of the Driftwood Drag. The Tangled Wood is not a place easily navigated, and it was not long before the fledgling Skydancer was lost.
Somehow, Caligo eventually found a break in the massive brambles only to find herself standing before a vast red plain, covered in ancient bones and roots resembling intestines. He had stumbled into the Scarred Wasteland, standing on the edge of the Wandering Contagion.
Caligo was found by a young Ridgeback, who introduced himself as Bacillus. A similar age to her, he had opted to run away from his own birthclan instead of being sent out to serve their goddess. Bacillus offered to help Caligo navigate the Plaugebringer’s domain, and he agreed.
As the two younglings travelled, they stumbled across a place known as the Starwood Strand, where they were found by the hunting party of Ruby, Altum, and Xena, who saved the duo from a hostile group of Harpies and took them back to the Clan they now call home.
