After your previous activities, you begin to wander the lair once more, stupefied and hoping to escape. Suddenly, a pink-and-purple spiral leaps down from above, landing on your face. "Hello!" the stranger chirps. Circuitry lines mark their glittering body, and their eyes seem to glow bright in the dim, hazy light. "My name's Buggy! After my circuit patterns, I think. You, uh... wanna be friends?" You nod your head hesitantly, afraid to offend. "Really?! Most of the dragons in the lair don't like me that much, seeing as I don't do much around here... Hey, wait! I kmow! Wanna see my secret hideout?" The spiral flutters off toward another corridor.

Their eccentric apparel pieces clunk against each other, leaving an easily followable trail of noise. Turning a sharp, tight corner, you encounter a long hall with rooms upon rooms within. "These are the lairs," the spiral peeps. "I have one, but I don't sleep in it often. But that's not important- we're almost there!" Buggy beckons you forward, and you follow him into the suprisingly-wide opening of a high-up crack in the wall.

"This is a little spot I dug out for myself. We used to have an infestation of Duskrats, you see, so I widened their little burrow into this space." The spiral coils around a crystal-clear pond. As you peer in, you realize it's filled with Topaz Guppies. "I don't eat seafood, so they're safe with me. They're so friendly, and are really easy to please... Uh, I just keep them out of dragon jaws and breed them here." Buggy coils into a corner. "I... Look, I'm sorry if I'm annoying or childish or childishly annoying. My dad was big and scary, and both my parents were good with magic. I'm weak, to be honest- magically, physically, and mentally: I'm not very bright, and I get on edge way too easily; I can't lift a thing, and am only half-decent at flying; and I can barely use magic." He sighs.

"But hey! We're friends now! That means I have at least two official friends! ...You and Fallout, to be specific." He squirms in his spot, clearly excited. "She's basically the only reason I'm still here, other than pity, I suppose. Neither of us had good childhoods, to say the least, so we have that in common. Despite her "diet," nobody really gets sick from being around her because of protective Arcane spells provided by a clanmate- but, ah, that's unimportant. If either of us serve a function, I guess it's that we take care of each other. Even if it's one-sided. All I can do is give her algae from my pond for extra nutrients. But hey! It's alright- now you can be part of our little pact! And we can take care of each other no matter what!" Buggy beams. "...R-right?"

You nod vigourously; the dragon is getting anxious, and you certainly don't want to hurt his feelings. Besides, even if you'll never be here again, he's a good dragon, and the more allies the merrier, right? "Great! Uh... You can leave now. I don't have much else to say..." Cautiously, you turn around and leap down, soon pacing further into the lair.
