Biography
As a hatchling, Damon ran away from home. He was not happy in his birth clan, and he disliked the lands he was born in, the Sunbeam Ruins. Of all the foolish things a hatchling can do, this ranks among the highest. Outside of the safety of a clan, a dragon hatchling makes easy prey for the surrounding wildlife and chances of survival are slim.
But Damon beat those odds, helped by his then unknown abilities as an oracle. When he lies still in the sun, he has visions. The visions guided him westward, towards the inland Sea of a Thousand Currents and then led him further still to the lair of the Hydrus Clan. Upon hearing his story and the hatchling's adamant refusal to return to his birth clan, he was allowed to stay, for who were they to argue with visions likely sent by the Tidelord?
Though, there are times they wish they didn't adopt him.
Damon is violent and conceited. He clashes with most others in the clan (especially Piddo) and he is generally disliked. Every clan has "one of those" dragons, and once you learn how to deal with him, he is not so bad to get along with. He has, however, earned himself the nickname of "Demon of Light" due to both his gifts and his disposition.
The only exception to this is Echo, who is always spared Damon's wrath and he treats her incredibly kindly.
