Phantom of Battle |
 Excalibur is a very skilled warrior for the fire kirin clan, or so he was a long time ago before he retired. Long ago when the kirin still lived in peace with the other species, he worked for the tyrant king of the fire kirin. He also had a wife who supported him whenever he felt like giving up on everything and soon after he would have been a father to 4 pufflets. Until the moment where for some reason all those who they thought were friends attacked and drove the kirin species near extinction and into hiding, he tried to defend them the best he could, but he was distracted as he heard a scream he knew very well that belonged to his wife. He rushed to what is now the ruins of his villiage, when he return he found his wife dead and the eggs broken. He was horrified from the sight and he blames himself for not being able to protect his own family and that is what moved him to hide along with all the other surviving kirin. One day while doing his regular duties, he decided to quit the guard because he couldn't stay in hiding anymore. The king pleaded and threatened so he wouldn't leave, as he was his best soldier, but it was in vain. Excalibur took his armour with him and left, but before leaving he took the one thing that would always keep the memory of his wife close to him, a sword forged from aquamarine and ice he and his wife called "Cosmos". She had spent hours a day mining aquamarine and put it together with her icy magic, making sure that no one but Excalibur or anyone who was worthy were to wield it. He flew far from the kingdom, probably into a different planet. He accedentally crashed into a butterfly kiridan who was supposed to be keeping watch for something. Unfourtunately for both of them they were caught, the kiridan rushed back to the base, with Excalibur following behind. The owner of the base asked him who he was and what his intentions were, the kiridan quickly noted he was afraid and stopped him from questioning the knight. Over the years they became friends, going on missions for an army known as the G.S.A. Excalibur relatively enjoyed it, only because he had a friend on the force. During a mission out in Echos Edge, he lost the sword from all the gusty winds. His enjoyment of being in an army quickly faded when he realized that his friend had mysteriously vanished without a trace. After that he decided to go missing as well but only appear during wars that seem impossible to beat, he does this because he feels the need to, he may have lost his future children but the protective instinct never went away.
