 Ferngully was born on October 15th, 2021, joining the Hideaway after a freezing blizzard hit the Southern Icefields. The Skydancer showed an interest in flowers and plants, offering to help take care of the clan's indoor gardens. She attended the gardens every few hours every day; watering, soiling, and replacing them in their needed spots. Her garden-buddy, Emerald, helps her care for the plants well, as the Wildclaw also showed interest in the topics Fern liked, especially gardening. The two often hang out with each other and talk about what to do with the gardens, such as decorating them. Jinyu often visits their gardens as the Skydancer finds their work to be incredible. The flowers and plants within the gardens can grow to staggering lengths and heights, especially the ones that don't need to be picked for food. Fern and Jinyu eventually became good friends, sometimes, Jin could be seen relaxing and meditating within one of the gardens' open areas. Fern has become a recognized gardener through some parts of Sornieth, offering help to other fellow gardeners when she can, even if they're from different clans. During a small little trip to get something for her gardens, a little toad happened to snuggle its way onto the Skydancer's shoulder, staying there unnoticed until Fern heard some croaking coming from her right. Fern decided to keep the toad, as it did serve some help within the gardens, such as catching and getting rid of pesky insects that eat or destroy the plants and flowers. When winter normally rolls around the corner, Fern often uses her nature element to keep her gardens alive and well. This can be tedious, however, as the magic only lasts so long before she has to perform the same power again. When Spring comes, her garden flourishes with freshly sprouted seeds and sprouts, often accompanied by baby-blooming flowers. The garden often smells very nice during this season as well. Most of the Hideaway often comes to witness the beautifulness of her gardens, especially during blooming seasons. Thanks to Fern's gardens, the clan can have fruits, vegetables, and other plant-based food items whenever the days get cold and scarce. Fern still manages the gardens, along with the help of her friends and fellow gardeners, and doesn't plan on quitting her job any time soon. |

And Ferngully! She's absolutely adorable, I love tree dragons and she's a lovely example of why! I especially love how well veined works with that theme, it looks like she has tiny vines crawling all over her and I love it! The apparel she has is a very nice extra touch, everything fits well with her role and matches in a wonderful way, I especially love the bits of yellow from her treads and the tan from the basket she has, they stand out perfectly!
