ODETTE
Mistress of the Draycott Auction House

She runs the auction house, and often hires Sophie both to plan parties and to contract her for items. On one normal day, at yet another party, she suddenly looked down and saw a tiny spiral latched onto her foreleg. The child introduced himself as Apocalypse, and his friend Antelope, who was....eating the decorations?. While trying to get the child to stop said animal, she noticed a commotion near the punch table. When she looked over, she wished she didn't. There, in the expensive crystal bowl, a massive fish was thrashing wildly, splattering punch all over everyone unfortunate enough to be within range. It quickly devolved from there.

Several hours, and many many ruined clothes later, she sat down with the child and decided to find out who their parents were. unfortunately for Oath, said parents were all the way over in the Shifting Expanse. How did a child travel all that way by foot? On their own?? Oath could not fathom. Unfortunaltely for her, the orphanges were full until next month, and her own bleeding heart kept her from just tossing the orphan to the street. Over that month, there was enough accidental bonding for her to be too attached to send him away, and that's how Oath got herself a son. She tells everyone he was an accident.
