B I O G R A P H Y

______ One of the original members of Emperor's Bane from when it was first founded, Alder retains memories of when the Guild was nothing more than a pack of vengeful dragons who'd lost their homes. He's worked in the Disposal Division for years, and performs his duties like second nature. Alder believes firmly in the cause of Emperor's Bane - to protect Sornieth from Emperors - but cannot stomach the recent decisions made by Vultur and the other heads, an opinion which he keeps securely under wraps. Alder is regarded as grumpy and stiff, known as the old Pearlcatcher from Disposal who's likely to be wearing a sour frown regardless of the weather or circumstance. He doesn't talk much besides when he needs to, and does his job without complaints or questions, and when he's returned back from missions he prefers to retreat to his quarters as opposed to socializing with the rest of the Guild.

______ Alder was one of the few dragons who joined with Vultur in the very beginnings of the Guild, along with his close friend Adalaide. Adalaide had been the only other survivor from Alder's clan, and the two became inseparable, vowing to have one another's backs. Adalaide eventually formed the Disposal Division, with Alder gladly serving as her Lieutenant - that is, until she was prematurely killed in an accident in the field. Previous to her death, Adalaide had told Alder that something wasn't right in the Guild, and that she was going to confront Vultur at the next Guild meeting ... something she never saw come to pass. Alder knows in his soul that Adalaide's demise wasn't a matter of bad luck, and so he's remained in the Guild, biding his time until he can gather enough proof and evidence to finally bring the truth about her death to light ...
