When there is nowhere else to run, the outcasts hide in Sector 42. Amongst the snow and rubble of great civilizations, razed to the ground by greed and hatred, the lost and forgotten hide in plain sight. Liminal is one such dragon, who took upon gentle winds to find herself a new home; a new beginning.
There are dragons who would have her dead; Liminal never speaks of them, of the raiding parties of the Fire flight who roamed the shores of her old seaside home, burning and looting. She does not blame the pirates, who are outcasts from their homeland's civil war, but she knew after catching the eye of the admiral of one such pirate fleet that she needed to flee. Liminal found herself in the wilderness of Sector 42, after a days-long flight from the coast.
Kelemvor, the Red Guard, found her then; he recognized her, and offered her a place amongst the Accursed Vista. He promised to protect her and all her kin, and Liminal accepted. The two became close, and Utopia was hatched; her first son, her greatest hope for a future.
Though she is nothing close to royalty, Liminal jokingly called the Gold Queen by the dragons of the Accursed Vista; the ones who wish Kelemvor had taken his status as a king, and itch for a proper ruler to lead them. Liminal isn't a ruler, but she does her best to guide the younger dragons and ensure the safety of all who live within their small community.
