Deadwood, grandson of Herma and Flann, was born with shining primal eyes that - while beautiful - left him nearly blind. Despite that, his parents' paranormal gifts bestowed and inheritance that allows him to see the paranormal world very well, and he's utilized this ability to forge better understanding between the living and dead realms. As such, he is also the one dragons from other dens often first approach when they need help or advice from the paranormal den.
