PERSONALITY

Faelan is shy, indecisive, but steadfastly loyal and sincere. She would do anything for her loved ones, even at great sacrifice to herself. Her love for farming and gardening betrays her duties as a Cardinal, but she tries her best to fulfill the role she now occupies.

Born with verdant eyes in the icy regions of the Burning Frost, Faelan is attuned to the natural resources that slumber beneath the frigid floor. An avid forager, she spent most of her days helping her siblings gather food and materials as a child.

ABOUT

A soul that burns brighter in the Frost.

Faelan has lived in the shadows of her brothers and sisters for as long as she can remember. When her sister Iolite suddenly left to serve the Plaguebringer, however, Faelan found herself taking her place as a Cardinal.

Faelan is the middle child of a prominent family of mages that have been part of the village for many generations. Her older, capable sister Iolite and her younger, genius brother Astral outshine her in many ways. Though the villagers have generally been kind and accommodating to her, she has felt their disappointment growing up. Even still, Faelan does her best with the skills she has honed in her own way. It is unclear why Prayer, the matriarch, bestowed her with the title of Cardinal over her much more quick-witted brother, but perhaps she sees something in Faelan that Faelan does not see in herself.
