personality: very self-assured, sometimes even arrogant. good at inflicting insult AND injury. loves to cheat and fight dirty. actions > words. knows when she owes people. tends to stubbornly stick to her guns when she believes something. loud and vivacious, loves to have a good time. considered a large nuisance by half the city. sense of humor is snarky and biting.

working with the shadeslayers of hron-rade, as a scout/tracker and backup

history:

was born in the wandering contagion to a nomadic clan of mirrors.

got used to townie life pretty quick, as her clan would often visit cities to fraternize and trade. she gained a few friends by tagging along, who were usually about as energetic as herself. most of her friendships came and went pretty quickly, usually just for a loss of contact.
while not originally a talented hunter, she started honing her skills in her juvenile years and pretty much never stopped.

eventually she left her clan for a city near the blight sanctum, though this departure didn't completely separate them - her sister and one of her cousins came to live with her as roommates, and the city wasn't far out of the way of the clan's usual route. it was a struggle to get used to, at first, but she figured out how to manage. it was around this time that she became a shadeslayer, having realized her hunting expertise might find its uses there.

thinking maybe she wound up in wet dirt city as a stowaway ?

relationships:

calathea - neither of them get along with each other. coracina knows calathea thinks she's an ******* and coracina knows she's right about it, but also she refuses to admit it in front of her.

atka - mixed feelings between them on account of calathea. coracina was the first person to show atka around hron-rade so they were kind-of-friends for a little while, but then calathea came along, and the incident happened, and now atka doesn't talk to her anymore. (it still hurts, but she doesn't want to admit it to herself.)

haunt - cousins! they rely on each other pretty much. i think theyre living together but i forgor

forbaernan - closest friend in hron-rade, with exception of her cousin, maybe?

characin - growling snarling and biting

probably has a bunch of friends, not all of whom are shadeslayers

hated by most of the local tavern owners because she starts a lot of bar fights



('coracina' comes from cyanocoracinae, a clade of jays in the corvid family)
