Generation 2

All faeries are greedy, but the Autumn Court is the most greedy of them all...

Congratulations on adopting a Descendant of the Autumn Court~ Gluttonous and decadent, the Autumn Court fae gorge themselves on the harvest's riches. Be warned, though: one taste of their food, and you will never be able to leave. The Autumn Court is most well known for granting questing dragons prosperity, but only if they can be convinced to part with it. Autumn Court Lineage:

Oona & Finvarra >> Blaize >> Me!

~~

When anyone thinks of breeding grounds for greed, Plague clans are not the first thing to come to mind. Most of his court would journey to where the grass grows green, where there a plenty of farms for the taking.

But Laurel was different, was wiser. He knew how easy it would be to become powerful within the Scarred Wastelands. He ventured to a city surrounded by walls, Opovder. (Walls. How foolish, to think that something material could keep out the influence of things much greater than them.) The fae grew vines along every surface he could find, and harvested his crops all while he was called a fool from every direction.

And when the work had been finished, when he was surrounded by food that would overwhelm even the largest Imperial? They came, like moths to a flame. Soon they were pleading, offering everything they and the others around them had. It certainly wasn't like they couldn't go out and get enough for themselves, it was simply that they saw that someone else had what they didn't.

And it is them that will call us greedy, when they would lead their material lives to the slaughter all to get something they don't need? Laural thought, as he accepted the fools' deals, his wealth and power increasing tenfold.

Truly pathetic.
