Daime has the most thankless job out of the rest of the diplomats, dealing primarily with communications within the city and with other cities. Meaning for him, he's often thrust into a room full of dragons shouting at each other in different languages and an endless amount of squabble over a hundredth of a percentage in a trade deal. And there are only so many pain reliever potions he can take before Daime is tempted to bash his head into the meeting table. The other diplomats of Arcana Central are sure to speak in much quieter voices when Daime is even available to attend them. Outside of his hectic life of being a diplomat though, Daime can sometimes be seen shopping for robes and shawls.

While Daime isn't even at Arcana's diplomat meetings a lot, often too worn or occupied in another city's meeting, Nimriel is one of the dragons he loathes seeing. Brash and often jumping to conclusions, they both bicker about the most minute of things.

Daime considers Fleur one of the most tolerable diplomats solely because she isn't doing anything most of the time and he respects her for not excreting the little power she has out of laziness. He usually picks up a bouquet of flowers for her to eat when he is going to one of Arcana's meetings.
