While her parents preferred to travel within the Scarred Wasteland, updating the clan's extensive maps on the territory, Izanami kept largely to herself. Not even having a nest could curb the aggressive nature of two dragons who spent so much time in Plague territory. It wasn't that they didn't care about their children. But their reserved and distant nature leeched into the hatchlings as well. Izanami was the only one who remained when her siblings came of age to leave. They had no reason to stay.

Cold and aloof, Izanami spared little time for making friends. She was much more interested in history, and would often spend hours in the clan's library to learn all she could. Her studious nature earned her the respect of the clan's lorekeeper, Mercury, and her much more reserved familiar, Kimaru. The golden kitsune often made the journey back to his pack in the Bamboo Falls, keeping their alliance with Clan Willowbreeze strong.

During one such journey, Izanami begged to be allowed to accompany the grumpy golden fox. She wanted to learn more beastclan history directly from the source. Kimaru begrudgingly acquiesced. The pack took warmly to Izanami's studious nature. She foiled all of their tricks, earning their respect. One kitsune in particular, Mizuki, took a shine to the frigid skydancer. She and Izanami now make the occasional voyages between the two clans together, strengthening the clan's bond with the pack.
