🟈 Nanwyn is the herald of Kairos City and Aryse, she often makes announcements or speeches on his behalf and her word is taken as his. She is also a messenger. 🟈 She is incredibly eloquent and Aryse leans on her to communicate clearly with others. 🟈 While she is generally very calm and collected, she has a low tolerance for any disrespect towards the Refuge and she is known to shutdown conversations with dignitaries if they don't treat her or the Refuge with dignity. 🟈 Some accuse her of being manipulative or twisting others' words, but in her mind she is always trying to best represent the Refuge and Aryse. 🟈 As a part of her duties, she has an expansive knowledge of different clans and important dragons across Sornieth, so she is always ready to address them, even on very short notice. |

🟈 Nanwyn was raised in one of the oldest and strongest households in Kairos City. 🟈 Although technically one of the noble families, her family tried to protect Kairos' underclass, which led to them being pushed into the outskirts of the ruling class during Kairos' age of nobility. 🟈 As their family fell further into disrepute, her father fell ill and on his deathbed he pledged her to marry the son of another wealthy family in an attempt to save the household. 🟈 Upon finding out how little wealth her family had left, her husband became bitter and resentful and grew neglectful of his duties. With him as head of house, her family name was further tarnished and the marriage became cold and distant. 🟈 Nanwyn, always very proud and having been raised in her family tradition of helping the poor, didn't hesitate to allow revolutionaries to use her home and resources during the revolution, and even protected them with whatever influence her house had left. Her husband was killed when he tried to attack her after finding out what she was doing. 🟈 After the revolution, her house was restored to its previous honour and is highly respected today and she became Aryse's Herald. |
