Royal is completely typical for his kind. He values and craves strength, and often challenges Brutus to spars in an attempt to get stronger. However, he's also totally under the thumb of his mate, Icing. She's the brains, and he's the brawn of their little duo. He's well aware of this, and is totally fine with it as well. She makes her plots and schemes, and he does whatever she asks, content to support his much more ambitious mate in whatever she's planning.
He's a surprisingly caring father as well. Although each of their hatchlings is sent out into Sornieth to form bonds with other clans, Royal always makes sure to give each and every one of them a pep talk before they go, and promises them that he will fight for them if they ever call upon him for help.
