B I O G R A P H Y

Born with a unique and powerful gift from the Arcanist, Unnamed is a hatchling not to be messed with. Because even though she looks like one, she really isn’t- one of the perks of her star-blessed status is that she doesn’t age very fast, or even at all. This means that despite looking like she shook the last piece of her shell off a few nights ago, Unnamed has really had plenty of time to perfect her craft of magick.

She often uses this to her advantage; tricking a dragon into letting their guard down or taking in this helpless little hatchling. Sometimes a keen eye will spot her gift and take her in in the sheer hope that the Arcanist will bless them. What really happens is quite frankly beyond the deity’s control. Unnamed will either wait till her ‘rescuer’ is asleep or forcefully knock them out with magic, before robbing them blind and escaping in any means possible.

This has led her to have quite a reputation, even among her own clan. Many are wary of her cunning, and prefer to stay away from her as they worry she could do the same to them. Perhaps some sort of charm hex? Or put you to sleep on the spot, before digging through any pockets or bags you have? Who knows- this little hatchling won’t stop at anything.

B I O G R A P H Y

Unnamed was on the side of a dirt road, again. She’d managed to pull off this same heist last week, netting her enough to feed herself for a month- a week if she decided to eat lavishly. But she was out here again, no doubt due to her kleptomania.

She flicked her forked tongue out slightly as a traveler passed. The wildclaw spared her a glance, but nothing more. A scowl formed on her mouth once he had passed, though it disappeared as soon as the next came by. Thankfully, for Unnamed, at least, he turned to her.

“Aw, what’s a little hatchling like you doing out here?” Then, he noticed her eyes. “Oh, you’ve got a gift from the Arcanist. A little star-blessed hatchling, huh? Well, let’s get you cleaned up, shall we.”

The skydancer picked Unnamed up, giving her a pat on the back. She grinned as he hauled her away, though changed her expression to that of an innocent hatchling as more travelers appeared behind them.

Unnamed waited, and waited, and waited- the journey back to this gullible samaritan’s home was lengthy to say the least. She held back the urge to sigh as she continuously blinked dust kicked up from the dirt road out of her starry eyes.

Then, it finally happened. The skydancer turned onto a small, paved pathway that led to the front door of a quaint little home. Not extravagant, but not crude or gritty, either. He swung the front door open and set Unnamed down, giving her a little pat as he disappeared up a flight of stairs. Unnamed grimaced. As much as she loved being a thief, sometimes the act of a child was too much for her- though not this time. Despite the skydancer’s sappiness, Unnamed was enamored with the menagerie of goods scattered around the place.

Eventually, the skydancer came back downstairs- though since Unnamed didn’t feel like dealing with him, she simply worked a little hex she’d been working on onto the skydancer. Just as planned, he collapsed to the floor and drifted into a deep snooze. As soon as the coatl hatchling was sure he was fast asleep, she got to work; snatching a sack from a shelf near her, she began throwing all sorts of valuables into it. Necklaces, rings, gemstones, even treasure. She would stop at nothing.

Finally, once the bag had been filled to its limit, Unnamed reached up to open the door and escaped. Running back along the dirt road, she half cursed the skydancer for taking her so far away, and half cursed herself for stealing so much. But despite the troubles of making it back home, she did, and began sifting through her new goodies with a devilish grin plastered across her face.
