Constantine is a rare type of contract killer -- he doesn't like to get his claws dirty, literally or metaphorically. He uses his magic to propel blades through the air, striking from a distance, never letting targets get close enough to bloody his clothes. Constantine appreciates the finer things in life. That's probably how he ended up working for the Silent Crow Outpost.
It was more a stopover for him than any major life event. He heard through a friend of a friend (as hired guns often do) that a notable organization in the Tangled Wood was hiring fulltime security staff and packed up and went for it. He got along all right. He was never bored, that was for certain. He only left because he doesn't like to stay in one place for very long. Too long in one place in Constantine's line of work and you tend to attract unwanted attention.
After just under a year at the Silent Crow, Constantine graciously worked out his departure and headed for the Southern border. He still keeps in some contact with Caspian, the Silent Crow's resident artifact specialist, but other than that, Constantine has moved on from the outpost. He thinks it's for the best.
Now, he does private contracts. He's known for being very discreet. None of that big public spectacle nonsense. Can't have the public catching on.
