Yazeena comes from a long lineage of Earth dragons in Dragonhome. Starting as an optimistic and bright-eyed Obelisk with a strong magical earth background, he was destined to be an important rare-earth miner working deep underground, a difficult but prestigious line of duty. However, Yazeena quickly was found to be a disappointment when the Earth magic he was expected to have turned out to be entirely nonexistent, and he was never able to keep up with his peers nor employers' demands until he finally found himself too tired and burned out to try anymore, and he soon turned to alcohol to drown his sorrows.

Ultimately fired from his position and labeled a disgrace to his family, Yazeena left Dragonhome to find a life he was more suited to. As he traveled southward from Earth, he found himself drawn to Wind, a friendly Flight known for its easygoing atmosphere, with lots of food and drink to go around and plenty of sun to relax under. He drifted around Wind for some years, trying (and usually failing) to not overstay his welcome in various clans, but eventually he arrived in Florabrisa, whose leaders offered him a free room to stay in without question or judgment. He could finally live out his best life.

Yazeena is especially fond of wine and fancies himself as a sommelier, though he doesn't work for anyone - he just likes to drink and offer unsolicited critique. He's often found at Galanthus's salon, for all the rest and relaxation he can get. He occasionally goes on dates with fellow salon-goer Molassa, though neither of them want anything too serious and just enjoy some nice candlelit dinners together.

Favorites:
Yazeena is a very unmotivated and lethargic obelisk, spending most of his days lounging around in various spots around Florabrisa - under the heat lamps of the salon, on the cliffs looking toward the sea, or simply alone in his room for peace and quiet. He enjoys wining and dining - especially the wine part. He never goes anywhere without some wine nearby. He sometimes hangs out with Ricotta, the two enjoying Concordia's wine and lounging under the sun together.

He likes to study philosophy, mostly so he can boast about his intellectual pursuits, musing about how he probably was a great thinker in a past life. He claims wine gives him his best ideas, though it makes it hard to focus on the text in front of him. He usually winds up falling asleep before finishing any book.

Appearance:
Yazeena is a very fat, mid-length obelisk with big wings and a tired visage that can make him look slightly older than he really is. He has small pointy ears, and four short broken-looking horns. He has a curled v-shaped nose and large tusks protruding upwards. His messy bangs flip to the right side of his face and his mane texture is more tightly curled than most other Obelisks'. The tufts on his arms, legs, and tail are rather short and unimpressive.

He tends to wear older, patched up clothes that have seen better days and don't quite fit him right anymore, but he refuses to replace them. He wears laurels and armor to make himself look more important, and the grapes make for a nice snack too.

As a stone statue he is made of unakite, though unlike most Obelisks, he finds changing forms to be taxing, so he rarely does so.
