Starwood Vales
Among the stars floats an array of islands, some with whispering truth. The islands themselves being held together through an odd magnetic field that appeared to defy the very notion of gravity. Over time dragons began to settle on the lands that bore the fruit of the phenomenon, however they wisely avoided the islands and portions of larger islands that carried with it the Starwood Strand. The islands themselves are considered a part of a larger cluster of island chains known as Hoverview Vale where most dragons agree that gravity is a suggestion for these lands.Most of the settlements are along the greener ends of the isles, as the ones who ventured too close to the misty and lilac grasses lost far more than they gained. The Starwood Strand that dots these islands is far more dangerous than the ones still on the earthern lands below it. This ethereal forest filled with creatures that once called the fae who inhabited the regions shortly after as its family. The fae overtime forgot about these beings and their offerings had begun to stop shortly after the knowledge of them faded from history. Now hungering for acknowledgement and forgotten offerings they take over whatever leans on its borders. Settlements are overgrown and left as ruins in its wake. The dragons who came to settle these lands revere the forest in all its dangerous beauty, and advise all who venture to the islands in the sky to never set foot near the Starwood Strand that holds entire villages captive to its hunger. Those who enter the forest are often never seen again, and those related to the missing dragons can only speculate to what occurred to the ones who ventured into its mesmerizing dangers. Only those lost to the forest know the truth behind the long forgotten beings wish to be revered once more, whether it be positive or negative. |

Memories
When she awoke amongst the forest altar, her memories of who and what she was were foggy at best. Even when she began to gradually regain a sense of who she was, she had already lost herself too much to the forest surrounding her to even return. While she was once the heir to the prominent Ley Fey line, nowadays she finds herself amongst the otherworldly being that call the Starwood Strand home. While the beings of the forest are dangerous, they posed no threat to the dragon they had claimed.She was offered the connection to magic of the Starwood Strand, and is heralded as the first dragon in eons to be able to freely walk within and out of the woods with complete certainty. The only known reasons why she leaves is to plant the seeds of the forest in Vinmur City as to spread the reach of the Starwood Strand. Through this she is viewed as threat to the safety of the city, but in her eyes she believes she is bringing justice to the beings that consider her their first child. Over the period of her city visits, rumors that the missing Le Fey daughter surfaces, and neither she or her sister wish for the rumors to continue. Both do whatever it takes to quell it—whilst unaware of the other's presence.

"Hear ye, hear ye! Eldest Le Fey daughter missing! Sources state she was last seen heading out of town! No news of where she went—some speculation as to if she crossed paths with the fickle forest of Starwood! 20,000 gold reward for her safe return . . ." What had been written fades some as the elements had made the paper fade overtime. All that can be made out is an addition to the announcement that was made a few years after. "New information has been brought forth . . . Item of interest related to the missing dragon found . . . Lost to the Starwood Strand . . . Rewards for information and dragon voided . ."
Gifts
After being spirited away, she was given gifts to be connected the forest.The first of them being to sense what the forest itself feels—that feeling was of sorrow and loneliness—and she vowed to undo it. The second gift was to be able to look similar to the forest itself, and is something she takes pride in. The final was gift was the power of healing herself. The forest wished for its only dragon child left to stay as safe as possible. |
