Biography
Ciri Mysterie
Anomaly 1030: Office Cryptid
-Unknown, They/them
-As of current, the anomaly has not been proven to exist and has evaded containment. Having been named "Ciri Mysterie" by a member of staff who claimed to have seen the anomaly in question, they are currently regarded as a general figure for which much of the odd goings-on at the facility which cannot be explained by staff or known anomalies are attributed to. The bizarre behaviour started occurring sometime after the facility was established, with reports dating back to a few months after its foundation. Fortunately, these incidents have been extremely minor, hence why there has been no official or serious investigation. 1030 is largely attributed to actions such as the theft of office supplies and employee belongings, especially anything that may resemble a 'toy' (hence current theories that the anomaly is either a child or childish in nature), sudden and unexpected glitches or malfunctions with facility tech in the office blocks (fortunately never seeming to target anything in the containment blocks of the facility or doing more damage than bricking an employees phone), lights coming on unexpectedly and doors slamming on their own, mysterious noises in the ventilation system, the sound of someone running around upstairs or in the next room only for there to be no one there, moving objects around at random, activity that we would normally attribute to a form of poltergeist. Some staff led a minor investigation into the building history to figure out if there were any incidents that may explain a possible haunting, but thus far, nothing has turned up. Staff in the office blocks have simply accepted the presence of 1030, for as long as they remain a minor nuisance.
-As previously mentioned, the anomaly has been officially nicknamed Ciri Mysterie. Something cute and childish, as their behavior has most staff under the belief that the poltergeist in question may be a child. Though there isn't much to tell about their behavior due to how limited our knowledge is on Ciri, we do know they're a fan of small toys and puzzles, and will frequently bother staff who are younger or happen to bring any in more than older, more 'boring' staff. They also seem to be more active later at night, and especially so on weekends. Attempts to intentionally make them act have been unsuccessful however, and they prefer to act of their own accord. At least once, an attempt to bait them into a specific behaviour has resulted in the staff member baiting them having their phone battery suddenly explode. Though it could be coincidence, it's currently being written off as 'rebellious.'
-Not Partnered.... to our knowledge.
Containment Procedure
-Threat Level: Safe.
Anomaly is considered a non-threat and allowed observed socialization with all personnel following personalized containment procedures.
-There are no current established containment procedures, as anomaly is documented but not currently in containment. Staff are simply advised to avoid intentionally interacting with or aggravating the anomaly.
-Though currently considered of low risk, staff are advised to immediately report any similar anomalous activity taking place in the containment zones of the building no matter how small. With 1030's ability to mess with technology and access inaccessible places, they could pose a serious risk of containment breach.
