Subspecies Lore
Tide Forged are known for their craftsmanship for fine jewelry and armors. The Tide Forged dwell on the northern frontier of the Flamecallers realm, near to the Waters of the Sea of a thousand currents. In the cliffs they build their caves, where always forges are burning and the sound of hammer on anvils and the scent of metalwork fill the air. Often you can see one starring down into the waters, on the watch for those volcanoes, which spread there to erupt. That's the time when the Tide Forged dive down, into the waters. The Water and the heat of the Volcanoes there allows them to forge and create their masterpieces, just like their ancestors – fine crafts only two opposed elements like fire and water can create. Unfortunately the Volcanic Oracles, who see these Volcanoes as theirs, try to drive them out of the water each time. But the volcanoes spread from the Flamecallers realm, and so they are considered as belongings of the fire flight.
Although they are quite different from, time to time a Tide Forged and a Volcanic Oracle mate. Their offspring are usually driven away, but some are close enough to match the colors of the Tide Forged. They may stay, closely watched, as Tide Forged are suspicious towards hybrids and water eyes don’t fit the dark caves lit by forge fire.
