Cicada 
Mantis and Astra are excited to be parents of a large nest of hatchlings, telling them tall tales even before the young ones are able to understand. As they grow older, Astra teaches them to fight, their green scales seeming to glow under the sickly light of the Portal. Cicada is a follower by nature, trailing after her mother like a duckling for the first few weeks of her life. As she grows older, her sister's strong personality becomes more of a force in her life, to the point where she allows herself to be led right up to the Portal's doorstep. Backed into a corner and fighting for her life, Cicada is the only one who witnesses her sister's transformation into a being without mercy. Shaken to the core, she returns to the lair alone. But the sight of the Portal in the distance chills her, and it is not long until she decides to take her leave.
