Divinity

Divinity's red gaze broke the writhing shadows that surrounded her. The unsettling squelch of flesh that came from her mother's direction did nothing to phase her. She merely waited until the spiral's head was no longer buried in the corpse of her latest experiment. Her father, as hard as he was to keep track of, was close, if the drips of blackness on the ground had anything to say about it.
A lost god and a maddened scientist, a strange pair and yet quite perfect for eachother, despite the many losses of her siblings. She was one of the few that were lucky enough to survive. Genes not quite meant to mix and yet working for her.
In a swift movement she had perched atop the tray of tools near the metal table, seeing her mother's face finally come back into view.
"Vini! Vini dear, what brings you here?" Epistimi chirped, tilting her head as he ever present grin widened. "Finally leaving the market?"
She nodded "I've stayed long enough to learn to handle myself"
Swirling eyes closed as her mother hummed "Yes, yes I think you have. I think you'll do just fine out there. Always remember, however, that the walls of the black market will never close to you"
"Of course" She hummed. And she smiled, something she could've only picked up from her mad mother. "Thank you"
"Run along! I'm sure you've already found someone ta go with" The spiral ushered, tone warm "Mustn't keep them waiting"
