______ Even as a hatchling, the physical abnormality that Maelogan suffered would affect his life. His extra eyes were considered sinister and creepy, and the young spiral often was not allowed to participate in activities with other hatchlings. As he grew, Maelogan began to grow weary of the beratement from other dragons, though by this point was more than capable enough to ignore or remove himself from the offending area. Instead of socializing, he would often read books on magic, specifically illusions. He once used this trick to make it appear as though he had only two, normal-looking eyes.

______ Maelogan was among the first ambassadors accepted into The Clan, and though he can often be bull-headed, he has a trickster side in him. With the help of his lifetime companion, Xeno, Maelogan casts spells of illusion on his fellow ambassadors and Plague companions. Surprisingly, Maelogan is not completely disgusted by the landscape, though he has a particular distain for Mirror-folk. They seem eerily mindless to the arcane Spiral, and after being bitten by one, he is sure to stay clear.

______ Choosing to stay within the Wyrmwound was difficult- Maelogan misses his home. The Starfall Isles, and more importantly, the libraries and vast expanse of knowlege within. He find's comfort in the little bit of the Archanists he has been able to bring with him, and does not regret the other ambassadors he has met. Plague dragons are strangely fascinated, as feral and sickly as most of them are, but they aren't quite as stupid as most others assume them to be. Except Mirrors.
