Fatherly - Caring - Protective
For the longest time, no one really knew exactly what Mystic's gift was. When his wisps land on a surface, they immediately begin to crystallize, and within a few weeks a beautiful crystal will have grown there. Their size, shape, and color vary vastly, but no one knew what purpose they served, if any at all. It turns out that when worn by others, they bring an uncanny amount of good luck. However, a few days after being worn they begin to crack and eventually shatter. Upon the crystal's shattering, Mystic is imbued with the knowledge of everything that dragon experienced durring the time they were wearing the crystal. Mystic has kept the first crystal he made until now. It’s kept in a locket, small but lined with pure gold and tiny gemstones he’d personally dug out herself. The crystal is a boring thing, really; just a simple, translucent white crystal, jagged and rough and tiny. But it was the first crystal he’s ever made, from the time he’d cried in his nana’s garden after she died until his tears mixed with the soil and turned into the crystal, and he can’t bear to throw it away, not with the memories it holds. So it stays in a locket wrapped around his neck, and he goes about his days just like that.

I was born in... Leviathan Trench
Mystic was born in the deepest part of the world to a clan whose members are as varied as the flights from which they hail. Here in the depths of the Leviathan Trench many wonders are said to exist in the unbroken twilight, and from this echoing darkness, many hatchlings hear the whispers of their future calling. Mystic was the first to hatch from Iggy and Terric's second clutch. He was notably early, with the others taking hours longer to emerge. |
