You're heard that this mystical place, where time seems to stand still, is where the Stars are born. A legend in itself, this sacred place seems to almost be alive, filled with the magic of the Moon. The sky, clouds and stars seemed aglow in an otherworldly aura, silently asking you for your wish. You whisper your wish, your voice carrying through the silence like a melody on the breeze. Your wish whispers through the sky and surrounds a dragon couple, Orion and Halo. The couple are cuddled together on a soft cloud, the moonlight softly shining on them. As they watch, your wish fuses with the stardust in the air to become a star. The couple gently adds their gift, a white peony touched by the Moon, to the forming star. The star gently glows, pulsing with life and forms into an adorable hatchling.
Milky Way
Milky Way dragons are silent flyers, drifting quietly through the dark heavens like a cloud across the moon. Nearly invisible as they float through the sky, the moonlight glinting off their wings is often mistaken for starlight, helping them to blend in even further against the inky night sky. These dragons are quiet observers, silently surveying the land far below them, and are seen as a beacon of good luck to those fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of them on one of their midnight flights above Sornieth. Distant cousins of the Midnight Stargazers, these dragons prefer to be part of the heavens rather than observe them from down below, leaving their earthly trappings far beneath them to drift along on moonbeams, vanishing on a breath of wind as easily as a wisp of cloud if other traveling dragons should drift too closely. Milky Way dragons are often solitary creatures, but don’t mistake these dragons’ independence for loneliness; despite the great distances that are often between them, these dragons share a quiet community amongst their own kind and will treat each other as long-lost friends on the rare occasions they cross paths. |
