A young studious Opaline with a lot of attitude once despised her lineage. The fact that her so-called destiny and entire purpose was to spend her life as a warrior grovelling on the battlefield, all because of some long-standing feud between dragons and beastclans? To the speckled Pearlcatcher, her time was much better spent on learning the art of healing, specially due to how much her beloved Psywurm familiar, Libert, got into mishaps and constantly coming back to her with lots of injuries. Besides, Opal herself knew better than anydragon that she wasn't cut out for being a knight. She struggled wielding a sword of any kind waving it hazardly, barely able to land any hits and having rather wobbly footwork as if she'd never walked before in her life. Looking back, she could say without hesitance that those were the most difficult days as a juvenile. Though, where she failed in melee combat, she excelled in magic. She knew the ins and outs of the subject, was able to cast and aim spells with precise execution, even for a growing dragon her age. She would've been a proficient battlemage, if it wasn't for one teensy problem; She was known as The Coward for a reason, to say the least. And it'd have stayed like that for likely the rest of her life, had she not met a certain Nocturne.
