Dragonhome is full of ghosts, and the Rookery is no exception. Marn, imaginative and determined, finds all of the resident spirits fascinating. While he is not clairvoyant or abnormally sensitive to paranormal energy, brave Marn eagerly does his best to communicate with these entities. Itempas helps Marn document sightings, converse with restless spirits, and sometimes, absolve entities of earthly obligations.

This tundra is also member of Borges's delving crew, which often encounters ghosts when mapping tunnel systems left untouched for centuries. These exploratory spelunkers also designate certain caves as territory exclusively for spirits and other ethereal beings, where they can enjoy their undeath, if they so choose, in privacy.
