| 		Crystalline is distinctly unlike the rest of the members of Apotelesmatis, even their fellow undead, Vutha'isk. Behind Tiarnan and Iarrtho, they are the oldest member, and are barely alive even in the half-sense of necromancy. The reason for this is simple: Crystalline was once a normal dragon, but after their death, in the heyday of the cult, Tiarnan turned them into a living battery.

Their body transmogrified entirely into crystal, Crystalline is capable of storing and expending vast amounts of arcane energy, and that energy can be drawn upon by any dragon even remotely in tune with their magical abilities. If there were any trace of what Crystalline was before their transformation, it has long been lost to the echoes of time and of their own changed physiology.

The existence of Crystalline is a deeply guarded secret. They reside only in the Astrolabe, where none except Tiarnan and Iarrtho enter, and spend their half-existence in an orb of glass, feeding from the energy of the stars and awaiting whatever plans Lord Tiarnan surely has in store for them.
