Locksmith of the Decaying Lands Hon. Member of the Council of the Wise Crafter of the Wavedancers Skittish Quiet Loner

Born in the land of the Plaguebringer, he was ushered out of the lair at a young age, never gaining a name. There he found a likewise unnamed spiral dragon and settled down with her. They bore two clutches, of which the very first hatchling would be named, the rest would go to serve the Gladekeeper without a name.

Heartbroken, he left the lair to wander the world, eventually settling down in the Tidelord's domain. There he found a lair that would accept him. He was surprised to find there had been no locksmiths in the Wavedancer Clan and quickly offered his services to make as many locks, big or small, that the clan might need. Even when the matriarch the clan was named after and her mate returned, this unnamed spiral still offered his services and loyalty.

It would be a few months after Wavedancer and Skywing would return that she would give this spiral a name, an identity, a word he could call his own. She had offered for him to name himself but, when no name would come, she petitioned the Tidelord for a name. Having such a close connection with her deity, considering she had served him for quite a long time, he granted her request. From that time on the formerly unnamed spiral would be called Medhane.

Now with a name, Medhane settled down, still wary of forming any kind of relationships with others for fear that his offspring would join the Tidelord unnamed, but he was more accepting of the others. He had even received encouragement from the other Plague-touched dragons of the lair to ease his fears of being in a watery environment where his very element could wreak untold chaos. Only time would tell if he would find a mate or remain single for the rest of his days. In any case, he was more than happy to serve Wavedancer and Skywing or their children, as loyal to them as they were to him.
