Biography
Marrow
Magisa is willing to bear hatchlings with Malakai only on the condition that they endure similar experiments to their father. Malakai has been strangely enjoying her work, finding that his physical strength and endurance have increased greatly over the duration of these trials, and agrees quickly. As such, their hatchlings come into the world not under the loving gaze of a mother, but the excited observation of a scientist.
Marrow never particularly notices the difference. His father trains him when he has time, and Marrow looks forward to the lessons, admiring the older dragon's physical prowess. At first, it seems that he will grow into his father's shoes with time, but that proves to be untrue. His regenerative abilities lag behind his father's, no matter how they try. Magisa begins to view him as a failed experiment and internalizing her belief, Marrow decides to get out of the way.
After finding the little cub scrambling about the dangerous reaches of the Abiding Boneyard, Lisbeth picked him up by the scruff and flew them back home to see if her partners would know what to do. After some heated debate; the group of ex - Coliseum fighters have decided to take him into their midst as somewhat of a trainee (though Lisbeth has already started to take care of him as if she would of one of her own).
