Achelous

personality: easily wound up, and very passionate about things they care about. believes that the best way to navigate the world is by understanding it. often light-hearted. likes to tease people and tell awful dad jokes. has a very "if you need a job done well do it yourself" kind of attitude. easily frustrated by people, but not really by objects. forms judgements of people quickly.

currently working as an alchemist as part of a business venture. they have an assistant, Spark, and a small smattering of coworkers. (privately, they're dissatisfied with their job and want to do something more interesting with their craft, they just...)

achelous was born in a town within the vicinity of the daylight sanctum. they were a bit of a sheltered kid and did not make a lot of real friends, but they spent a lot of time in their youth reading and learning about things they thought interesting.

in their young adulthood, they spent a lot of time just doing odd jobs before moving on to lanturnlea port, where they went to university to study alchemy.

and uh they eventually moved on to wet dirt city probably


relationships:

spark - the workplace assistant, but achelous sees him as more of a student figure. they're thrilled by his curiosity and willingness to learn and they always enjoy teaching him about alchemy, but they also love teaching him life-lessons too. (they also like to tease him and tell him dad-jokes, just a little bit, because it's funny and he's a good sport about it)

chimalli - a workplace colleague. they didn't get along with each other much at first, but they'd both learned to stop pressing each others buttons eventually. they'd even had a professional respect for her, for a while. (she's so casually cruel to spark, though, that they kind of can't tolerate it. their opinion of her has soured after seeing how she treats him.)

lubov - another colleague. not really of much note to achelous; they work together alright, and they have something of a rapport going, but there's not much else to say on the matter. they like him enough as a person, at least- he's very easy to get along with.
