Though lacking in confidence, Perspex is one of the most gifted illusionists outside the Sunbeam Ruins. They put their talents to use as a performer, and occasional assistant to the clan bard.

"I took Hegi's name because I'm her apprentice, and I owe her for helping me leave my clan. No other reason."

Perspex's chosen familiar is Refraction, a bellus glamourtail. It's well trained to assist in performances, at least for a fish.

Unwanted by their own clan, Perspex met the travelling bard Hegi as a hatchling, when she joined their clan. Hegi, noting their gift for creative illusion magic, took them on as an apprentice, bringing them with her on her travels. Eventually, the two left Perspex's clan for good, and came to live at the Seckendorffs' lair.

(My first Veilspun, from Righat. Fun fact: I absolutely shamelessly got them specifically for the Veiled Rainbowwing accent.)
